Hi! I’m Alyssa and I’m a pretty big fan of bad puns and will likely make a few cheesy jokes during sessions. I am a part of the LGBTQIA+ community. I don’t always have my ducks in a row. Sometimes they’re not in the same time zone, let alone in a row. Yet, I have learned through my own therapy to be more compassionate to myself. I’ve been a therapist since 2016. I love what I do. It’s not always easy, as seeing people in pain never is. However, I find my work to be fulfilling and I feel so lucky for that.
I have dedicated my life’s work to helping clients who are struggling with mental health concerns and stressful life circumstances. I’ve helped people in many life circumstances: significant life changes, transitioning out of a career, coping with mental health concerns (anxiety, depression, bipolar, Borderline Personality Disorder, etc.), transgender transitions, relationship strain, coping through traumatic events. My clients never cease to amaze me with how resourceful they are when trying to cope. I’m just looking to add more resources into their coping skills toolbox so that they are able to be the person they want to be.
My passion resides in supporting people through disconnection with romantic partners. I have a special interest in working with people who are part of the LGBTQIA+ community. I am open to working with ENM relationships and/or kink positive relationships.
My goal is to support you in having the life that you want. One that is worth living.
